This comfortable and well furnished modern
house, sleeping four, sits high on the Loch Ness hillside
in a secluded idyllic location only a mile or so from the
amenities of the village of Drumnadrochit. Spectacular and
dramatic views down the Glen toward the village can be seen
through most of the windows in the house and the half acre
private garden makes the most of its beautiful vantage point and
unsurpassed Highland tranquillity. The splendour of the
commanding views across the mountain tops embellish the feeling
of peace as soon as you drive along the private road leading to
the house.
Equipped to the highest standard the house
boast a fully fitted modern kitchen and dining area with
electric cooker/oven, fridge, freezer, dishwasher, microwave and
all the crockery, cutlery and utensils you would need. The
Living room, with patio windows opening into the garden area
with picnic bench, has a television with Sky TV, video, DVD and
Radio/CD player.
The master double bedroom and twin bedrooms are
on the upper floor and the third bedroom with bunk beds giving the option to accommodate an additional two children are on
the ground floor. The bathroom has a bath with overhead electric
shower. All bed linen, towels and electricity are included in
the price. The house has electric heating throughout.

Torran Lodge is well situated and an ideal
base for touring the Scottish Highlands with Glen Affric, the
Great Glen, Fort William, Fort Augustus, Beauly and Inverness
all within easy access. Whether your holiday is about Nessie
spotting on Loch Ness, lazy and relaxing days or heading off
from the back garden to take in some of Scotland's most
spectacular scenery whilst
hill walking
and bird spotting, Torran Lodge offers something for
everyone. For Nessie spotters, there are two Loch Ness
Monster exhibitions and many cruises along the Loch are
available. Urquhart Castle and The Highland Riding Centre are
close by. The village of Drumnadrochit has a variety of places to eat and the
local shops provide the opportunity to stock up on any
provisions you may need.
Inverness is 14 miles and Fort William is
approx 45 miles down the road along the Loch.
